The latest addition to Bangkok’s literary scene! The Bangkok City Library officially opens its doors on April 28th 2017, and will be ready for the general public to visit from 29th April onwards. The Bangkok City Library was created to offer an additional source to find knowledge for the Thai public, and to honor the fact that Bangkok was chosen as an UNESCO World Book Capital in 2013. A beautiful 3-storey heritage building spanning over 4,900 square meters, the design of the Bangkok City Library was inspired by the concept of “Light of Wisdom”. It features neo-classical elements that blend both Eastern and Western designs together. The library features a computer corner, along with free wi-fi for visitors.
